Mountain navigation is fundamental to safety in the mountains. More accidents are caused by navigation mistakes than any other cause. Mountain Motion can improve your navigation skills and teach you how to move safely through the mountains. We will look at your current experience and skills level and develop this so you become more self reliant and competent in the Mountains.
During 2015 we will be available to run bespoke navigation courses. These will be tailored to individuals and small groups. As part of these courses, we will cover route planning, what to carry in the mountains, emergency procedures and night navigation and how to get the most from your day on the hill.
Instruction and coaching costs are based on £180 - £240 per day, per guide who can take up to six people.
It's important to know that whenever you pay for professional mountaineering services the person you get is qualified, experienced and insured to the best nationally recognised standard. If you want free advice drop Mountain Motion a line.
