Single Pitch Award
This award is for climbers who wish to supervise single pitch rock climbing activities for groups and individuals. The award focuses on aspects such as:
Personal climbing competance including leading
Sound knowledge of equipment
Setting up anchors and belays
Group set ups and supervision
Solving simple problems
More details of the award and how to register can be found on the MLTS website on the link above. The minimum number of participants required to run these courses is 2. Both training and assessment are two day courses that start the evening before, usually at a climbing wall.
We will arrange course accommodation in good self catering for those that need it. This cost is extra to the course fee's and should be paid direct by participants.
