The end of a wonderful week spent learning lots and having a laugh with good friends. The last couple of days Di Gilbert, Mark Chadwick and Heather Morning, myself and Squizz have had the pleasure of skiing and learning with Squizz's dad, Eric Pirie. One of the best UIAGM ski guides and coaches going.
Despite the week not exactly being the best for snow cover and touring, we all had a good time completing our Mountain Ski Leader Award. Di and I will be using the award a lot more next year as we start to develop the skiing side of our guiding, check out our website www.skiscotland.org.uk. Once again, many thanks to Ian Sherrington and Eric for the great course.
Back to work tomorrow with a wild day expected on Ben nevis. Hopefully we should get something done and at least it is turning a bit more wintery. After that is up to the CIC Hut for a few days.
Skinning over the Cairngorm Plateau

Making an improvised ski stretcher. Which we then sat poor Squizz on.

The team at the end of our week. Squizz, Heather, me, Mark, Eric & Di.
