Winter climbing and ice climbing courses across Scotland, Ben nevis, Glencoe and the Skye Cuillin ridge
An evening stroll up Ben Nevis yesterday. Lots of snow on the Plateau still but the North face ridges are starting to clear nicely. A word of warning to anyone on the Plateau. The tracks around gardyloo gully are far too close to the cornice edge. (See picture below.) If someone wanders a couple of feet east on a warm day then the cornice could well collapse. This is an accident waiting to happen over the next few weeks.
