Spent the weekend East with Robin Clothier, and lots of others!! Thanks to Uisdean and Doug for the comfortable accomodation in Ballater. On Saturday Myself, Robin, Iain Small, Simon Richardson, Callum Johnson and the Hawthorns! biked and walked in at an unearthly hour, only to Find Mr Boswell and Mr Robertson had headed in even earlier. We were then caught up with Will and Nick. We decided to look at the left side of Broad terrace and originally were eying up a line between Lost Oasis and

A good day on ben nevis taking Luca and Sammy on their first winter climb. There was an awful lot of avalanche debris around the mountain, See the Ben Nevis conditions page for some pictures. We did No3 Gully Buttress, that old perennial!. It had its fair amount of unconsolidated snow and slightly spooky snow as well. Anchors are

Alex and I were the only ones to brave the weather today in Stob Corrie nan Lochan in Glencoe. It was fairly wild but not too bad. Heavy snow most of the day, falling as Graupel in the morning. We climbed Dorsal arete which was in nice condition, freezing nicely with some useable frozen snow. Withe the freeze thaw that is forecast on

Blair and myself walked up to the Hut to meet Robin this morning. Nice, as then we did not have to carry too much kit in. Eventually we wondered up towards No3 Gully and decided on Archangel on the Ciste. Iain and Tony set off up Arthur, a super impressive line (and probably the third ascent). Blair ran the first couple of pitches together. I swore up the next pitch to the large ledge and then
